Digital Citizenship Week

During the week of October 20-24th we are recognizing our commitment to digital safety during Digital Citizenship Week. All students will participate in classroom lessons and also be involved in projects showcasing their learning. We are proud to be recognized as a Common Sense School thanks to our partnership with staff and families. You can find more resources on our TES Website- Family Resources

October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) recognizes October as National Bullying Prevention

Month. This observance underscores our commitment to ensuring that every student has access to a safe and supportive learning environment. Bullying can cause lasting impacts on those who experience it, those who witness it, and those who engage in it, which often results in diminished self-esteem, heightened anxiety, depression, and other adverse effects on overall well-being. HCPS School Counselors work to prevent bullying by teaching social-emotional skills, fostering positive school climates, and providing support and interventions that promote respect and safety at every grade level. In addition to these ongoing bullying prevention and intervention efforts, TES is participating in National Bullying Prevention Month by providing supplemental bullying prevention lessons. These lessons are aimed at promoting a kind, accepting, and inclusive school environment conducive to learning while building students’ understanding of and skills for addressing and preventing bullying behavior. Additionally, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, TES will join other schools across the nation in Unity Day by wearing and sharing the color orange to send a visible message of building unity through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying.

4th Annual Trunk or Treat: Thursday, October 23 from 6-8pm

Join us for a night under the Big Top filled with lots of fun, smiles, laughs, costumes, and of course CANDY! Speaking of candy, L&D is in need of candy donations for this event.
