Table Talk Question of the Week

This month we are celebrating House Kambi by exploring ways we can be trustworthy.

  • What does it mean to trust someone? Think of someone at school and at home that  you trust. Why do you trust them?

Our annual Career Day is coming!  Please join us as a presenter because we would LOVE to have you!  We are hosting Career Day on Friday, March 28th from 8-10AM.  We love having all kinds of careers represented so please consider presenting.  Presenters will be provided additional information upon registration.  Please complete this form to let us know you are available to present for Career Day.  Questions can be directed to Rebecca Ozmore (rbozmore@henrico.k12.va.us).  Our students are always so excited for this event and love seeing their parents and friends' parents talk about their jobs!  Come join the fun!  Register at: https://forms.gle/BDuKXb1tMo4mwcmHA

Be SMART

Join us March 6 at 6pm in the Tuckahoe Middle School library to learn about ways we can work together to help keep kids safe from gun violence. TES parents Scott Campbell and Sarah Hogeboom will share a 20 minute presentation about the Be SMART program, which educates parents and caregivers about secure storage.

Student Absence Due to Travel

When family travel plans require a student school absence parents must notify the principal and teacher. Families should request that the absences be excused by using the Request for Student Absence Approval Form a week prior to the trip.

Have a great week everyone!

Sincerely,

Sonia Ford, Principal
