TES Principal Update
Tuckahoe Families,
Last week TES was named the top elementary school in HCPS and ranked number 35 in the state of Virginia. This honor does not happen by chance. It happens when an entire community (teachers, support staff, students and parents) work together to make our students successful. Thank you for being our partner in your child’s education. We are grateful!

Christmas Mother Canned Food Drive
Once again TES will be collecting canned food and shelf stable foods on behalf of the Henrico Christmas Mother. Students can bring in items to donate until Monday, November 16. Thank you in advance for your support of this incredibly meaningful program.
On Saturday, Nov. 21, 500 bags of shelf-stable food will be distributed on a first-come,
first-served basis at the Henrico Community Food Bank. To support a smooth and efficient distribution process, recipients will remain in their cars in a drive-through line. Families do not need to register in advance. Please click here for more information.
STEMFest
Tuckahoe families are invited to join the Freeman High School Robotics club at their annual STEMFest at The Oak Avenue Complex on November 12th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
STEMFest is a free, family-friendly event featuring over 25 hands-on STEM stations tailored towards science, technology, engineering, and math. Students will have the opportunity to drive and play catch with a robot. There will also be free STEM activity kits so that students can continue their learning at home.
Scheduled Safety Drills
There are no drills scheduled for this week.
Have a great week everyone!
Sincerely,
Sonia Ford, Principal
